Greenhouse Build & Shed Restoration — Kerikeri
Reworking an existing structure into a functional greenhouse, shaped to suit the site and surrounding landscape.
From a leaking, unused shed to a functional greenhouse integrated around an existing Bangalow palm.
The project involved clearing dense vegetation and rock, restoring and repainting the original structure, improving roofing to manage heat, and constructing a custom timber-framed greenhouse extension.
Designed for durability, airflow, and everyday use, the space now supports plant propagation while fitting naturally into the surrounding landscape.
Coastal Bank Restoration & Planting
Exposed Coastal Site — Native Restoration Planting
This project began as a bare, sandy, erosion-prone bank on an exposed coastal site.
Hardy New Zealand native species were used to create a simple, resilient planting suited to wind, salt, and dry conditions.
The focus was on structure and restraint — allowing the planting to establish gradually, stabilise the soil, and settle naturally into the landscape.
Nine months on — the bank is holding, and the space is beginning to soften.
A future stage could introduce Titoki to add shade, structure, and canopy.

Staked, mulched, and managed to establish through wind and kikuyu grass pressure.
Over time trees will mature and a sheltering canopy will take shape.
